FIPP UNY STRENGTHENS COOPERATION WITH FKIP OPEN UNIVERSITY (UNIVERSITAS TERBUKA)

The Faculty of Education and Psychology of Yogyakarta State University collaborate with the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of the Open University (FKIP Universitas Terbuka) on the implementation of education, research, community service and independent learning on an independent campus. This stated in the cooperation agreement no B/1302/UN31.FKIP/HK.08.00/2024 and B/151/UN34.11/HK.06/2024 signed by the Dean of FKIP Open University Prof. Dr. Ucu Rahayu, M.Sc, and Dean of FIPP UNY, Prof. Dr. Nurtanio Agus Purwanto, M.Pd., The signing was carried out on Monday March 4, 2023, in Muh Amin Conference Room, 3rd floor, FIPP UNY.

The scope of this collaboration includes Visiting Professor, faculty and study program development, guess lectures, joint curriculum development, joint research, joint publications, joint community service, scientific journal management, seminar cooperation, providing training for lecturers and instructors, organizing an independent campus learning program (MBKM)

While the related study programs are S1 Educational Technology study program, and S2 Learning Technology. This cooperation plan is for a period of 5 years.

The Dean of FIPP UNY, Prof. Dr. Nurtanio Agus Purwanto, M.Pd., in his speech expressed his gratitude for the trust of FKIP UT to Partner with FIPP UNY. “The current global trend to move forward, by collaborating, mutually beneficial partnerships for the progress of the institution,” he said. Prof. Nurtanio hopes that this collaboration can be followed up with real programs that can be implemented with the study program in question.

Meanwhile, the Director of the Open University of Yogyakarta, Dr. Agus Santosa, M.Si., also has the same paradigm related to the partnerships between universities, so that they can be mutually beneficial. “We cannot walk alone, we ask for help by partnering with FIPP UNY, hopefully we can work together for the progress of the institution,” he said.

The technical implementation of the collaboration was also discussed between the Study Program of S1 Educational Technology FKIP UNY, represented by Dr. Marisa, M.Pd., as the Head of the Study Program of S1 Educational Technology FKIP UT with S1 Educational Technology FIPP UNY, represented by Dr. Sisca Rahmadona, M.Pd., as the Head of Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology (KTP) FIPP UNY, along with Suyantiningsih, M.Ed., secretary of the KTP Department, and Aryawan Agung, M.Pd., the Head of KTP Laboratory. Both of them hope that this collaboration can run in the near future in 2024. (rit)
